| Lines in the water at 8:00pm. Set the spread. First line out, boated a little guy, 80lbs. let him got, clean release, by the way. 2 hours later, the spread looks a little funky, so we decide to check the baits. sure enough, the deep rod starts to peel line faster than you can imagine. we didn't see the fish, but we heard the enormous crash as it leaped into the air and landed back in the drink. 4 hours later he was dead, boatside. took 30 minutes, with me and my friend chris, but we managed to haul the big guy in the boat. beautiful fish, and tasty. |
